Furniture

Here is a collection of my small furniture builds. Most of these employ the beautiful accent of epoxy resin. These pieces can be made custom to any size, wood species, or epoxy color.

Two of my favorite "river" tables: A black walnut end table with hairpin legs (above) and a black walnut desk with soft-close hidden drawer and custom legs (below).

Epoxy tables are a lot of fun to build. My favorite combo is Black Walnut with black epoxy, but any colors can be used to match the room. The Epoxy fills any voids in the wood and bonds with it to form a glass-like inlay. In these projects, the more character the lumber has, the better they seem to come out in the end.  Each void is entirely unique, giving every piece its own custom look.

Because walnut is so inconsistent, it leaves plenty of opportunity to introduce epoxy to the project. However I always like to make traditional furniture when the material allows for it.
